Just a few generations ago, the community was centered around a four-way stop, a general store, a small elementary school, a handful of churches, and miles upon miles of pasture land. Neighbors knew one another by name. Children rode their bikes down country roads. Friday nights, church gatherings, and local ballgames brought people together.

Life moved at a different pace. It was slower, more deliberate, and more intentional. People spent more time on front porches than on screens. Families gathered around dinner tables. Hard work, faith, community, personal responsibility, and respect for others weren't slogans—they were simply a way of life.
